You Were Not There my Sultan

You Were Not There my Sultan

You were not there my Sultan,
Hadhrat Adam (A.S) had your light.
You honoured heaven first,
Then the earth.
Adam (A.S) was forgiven for the sake of your light.
Arafat witnessed this forgiveness.
You were not there…
Your light was in Noah’s (A.S) ark.
As the waves drowned the earth,
As the water in the soil met the sky
and when they thought it was a divine torment.
Allah carried your light with a thousand reasons.
The Flood saluted your light with decency.

You were not there.
Your light was on the forehead of Ismaeel (A.S)
An Abrahamic prayer rose from the deserts.
‘Our Rabb’ he said,
‘Send a Messenger who can read Your aayahs
who can teach Your Book and Hikmah
who can show them the right way.”
Eighteen thousand universes said ”Aameen”.
Ismaeel (A.S) said ”Aameen” by raising his tiny hands which were enlightened with your light.
Jabal al-Nour stood up by saying Aameen.
An aameen named Uhud could be heard on the mountain of Thawr from Madinah.

You weren’t there.
Hadhrat Isa (Jesus) (A.S) gave the news by calling you ‘Ahmed’.
He called you the Efendi of the worlds.
I won’t talk to you much anymore, he said to his disciples.
Because the leader of this universe is coming…
Wait, Ahmed is coming.
Mercy is coming to this universe.
You became a breath that caressed the face of the apostles,
That resurrected the dead.
But you were not there…

You were not there, my Sultan…
Your light was on Abdullah’s forehead
The poor one used to walk bowed
Hutay’ah used to ask about you from the sky
Waraqah would look for you in the sky
Mothers always loved their daughters by crying.
(a custom before Prophethood to bury daughters alive)
They dressed them for death with tears…
They said, “Come on, you’re going to your uncle,” with tears.
When you were not there, my Sultan…
going to your uncle was the name of being buried alive.
It was the miserable desperation of mothers.
It was watching their babies die.
As the last child was thrown into the pit,
an angel that looked like her mother held her.
And with a smile on her face, she showed the Cave Hira.
Angels were dressing Hira.
Jabal al-Nour was getting ready for its Efendi…
Makkah was getting ready for its Efendi.
They were getting ready for the Efendi of the universe.
The universe’s eye was on Hadhrat Aaminah.
The soil was begging its Rabb,
The poor were crying and asking you to come, their eyes were on the sky.

And you arrived, Rasulallah (PBUH),
You arrived in such a way that…
Jibril was in front of you!
Angels with swords were behind you!
You came to earth in such a way that
Orphans must have had the most peaceful sleep.
The orphans hugged their mothers as much as they wanted.
Then there was a silence at dawn.
Everything was silent.
The stars and the moon were impatient!
The universe wanted to hear a name!
And a voice came from Hadhrat Aminah’s house;
Muhammed!
The darkness left its place to the light!
Muhammed!
Angels kissed your hands that carried the light.
Muhammed!
Sallalahu Alayhi wa Sallam
We sacrifice our lives for Allah Who created you, o the unique one!
We sacrifice our lives for Rahman Who gave you that name!

You were there…
Mercy was sent to the thirsty lands with you.
Mother Halimah found happiness with you after your mother.
Do you need rain?
Raise your finger of shahada,
Allah will send the rain there.
Then hold the leaf of a tree,
Allah will take its roots out and make it walk with you,
Just ask…
Just ask for it, O Rasulallah (PBUH)
Ask, ”Who am I?”
Mountains and stones will speak…
Mute children will hold your hands and say…
”Anta Rasulallah” ”You are Rasulallah” (PBUH)
You were there…
Badr was conquered.
Uhud was cornered.
Khandaq was the beloved one.
You had valiants.
You had valiants who competed to die.
You had Anas (R.A).
When he heard you passed away in Uhud, he asked
his friends, ”Why are you sitting here?”
They responded, ”Allah’s Rasul (PBUH) was killed”
He answered back, ”What are you going to do in this life if he died?
Stand up and die like him!”
He was martyred in the most intense area of the battle.
He was martyred, O Nabi!
His body was unrecognizable from wounds.
His sister could only recognize him from his fingers.
You had Mus’ab ibn Umayr (R.A).
He carried your flag in Uhud.
He was bonded to you at heart.
Allah sent angels down on earth with the face of Mus’ab (R.A).
You had Abu Hurairah (R.A).
He would stand in front of the Masjid when he was hungry and he would look at you,
You would understand, You would say ”O, Aba hir, come!”
And you left…
You just left…
Your grief was left behind.
Your longing remained in the sky.
Hadhrat Bilal (R.A) could not recite azaan anymore.
Whenever he attempted to say ”Muhammedur Rasulullah”
he would bend on his knees and pass out.
Then days brought months…
Months brought years…
And years brought centuries..
We opened our eyes to your absence.
But you would not leave us.
You are there, O, the Sultan of martyrs!
You are there!
How can we say that you are not when even a martyr does not die?
When Abu Talib was going to Damascus, you stood in front of his camel and asked:
”How can you leave me here? Where are you going?
I don’t even have a mother or a father.”
That’s why Abu Talib did not leave you.
Why are you leaving your Ummah who suffers
from your absence, ya Rasulallah (PBUH)?
Do not leave us…
Allah orders, ‘But Allah would never punish them while you were in their midst.’
Do not leave us!
Ar Rahman taught us about servitude through you.
We learned how to pray from you, O the beloved one!
When Hadhrat Omar (R.A) asked for your permission for ‘umrah…
You said, ”My brother…”
”My brother, can you also mention me in your prayers?”
We are not Hadhrat Omar (R.A), but…
We all pray for you…
O, Our Rabb!
Let Your Rasul (PBUH) know that we mention him!
Thousands pray for him, thousands send salaams to him!
Give Maqame Mahmud to Your Habib (PBUH)!
Give Al-Wasila to him.
Let him be the highest companion.
Forgive us.
For his sake, forgive us.
For the sake of his personality, forgive us.
We beg You, forgive us.
Please forgive us.

How beautiful a praise of the most praised sal Allahu alaihi wa Sallam

I read this hadeeth (prophetic narration) and I would like to know whether it is saheeh (authentic) or not.
“When Adam committed his sin, he said, ‘O Lord, I ask You by virtue of Muhammad to forgive me.’ Allah said, ‘O Adam, how do you know of Muhammad when I have not yet created him?’ He said, ‘O Lord, when You created me with Your own hand, and breathed into me the soul that You created, I raised my head and saw written on the pillars of the Throne, La ilaha ill-Allah Muhammad Rasool Allah [There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah]. Then I knew that You would not mention in conjunction with Your name any but the most beloved of Your creation to You.’ Allah said, ‘You have spoken the truth, O Adam. He is indeed the most beloved of My creation to Me. Pray to me by virtue of Him, for I have forgiven you. Were it not for Muhammad, I would not have created you.”

    Praise be to Allah.

This hadeeth is mawdoo’ (fabricated). It was narrated by al-Hakim via ‘Abd-Allah ibn Muslim al-Fahri (who said), Isma’eel ibn Muslimah narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam told us, from his father, from his grandfather, from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “When Adam committed his sin…” Then he quoted the hadeeth as the questioner quoted it.

it contradicts what Allah has mentioned in the Quran,

Then Adam received from his Lord Words . And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.

you can see that Allah gave him the words by which to repent

    Prophet-Adam-dua-for-forgiveness

If you were not to commit sins, Allah would have swept you out of existence and would have replaced you by another people who have committed sin, and then asked forgiveness from Allah, and He would have granted them pardon.
    — Sahih Muslim 2748b

Du’a For Mercy When We Have Wronged

    رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

Rabbanaa zalamnaaa anfusanaa wa-in lam taghfir lanaa wa tarhamnaa lanakoonanna minal khaasireen
“Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”

so he did come upi with the words himself because Allah would have mentioned that adam cam up with some word but rather Allah taught him and then mentioned thse words which i have shared with you.

La Tahzen – Dont Be Sad

La Tahzen – Dont Be Sad

La Tahzen! Don’t be sad!

If people have broken your heart, don’t be sad!
Didn’t the Most Merciful say: “I am in the broken hearts”?
Then why are you getting upset O dear one?
If you want to spread light around like the morning, burn your darkest desires which resemble the night
You say “I have problems”. Problems are your carriages that carry you towards Haqq, don’t you know?
Don’t ever think that you are the only one who has problems.
Remember that there are some people who would gladly accept your problems as blessings.
Do not lose your hope. Remember Yusuf (A.S).
Whenever there is a problem, in there is cure.
Whenever there is poverty, blessings go to that place.
Whenever there is a question, the answer is given there.
Wherever the ship lies, there is water nearby.
Get thirsty, so that the water can start spreading from both underground and the earth.
Property and goods of this world are Allah’s smile.
Look at them but don’t get drunk with them.

La Tahzen! Don’t be sad!

The sea doesn’t fit into a river, and the ocean doesn’t fit into the sea.
Those who never fell in love, they wouldn’t understand you, nor me, even if you tried to explain.
If you tell them love is the way to reach Allah, they wouldn’t believe you.
Those who don’t have a tiny bit of sunshine in their hearts, they don’t burn, they can’t burn (with love).
Don’t be upset over a broken foot. Maybe Allah will give you wings instead of the foot He has taken away from you.
Don’t be sad as you are stuck at the bottom of the well.
Yusuf (A.S) got out of the well and became the Sultan of Egypt, don’t forget!
If something you wanted has come true, look for a fortune. But if it hasn’t, look for a thousand times more fortune in it.
The past and the future are for human beings. In reality, there is only one truth. This life is a dream.
Don’t get it wrong O dear one!
In a dream, if your hand is cut off, don’t be afraid, because in reality, your hand is just fine.
If this world is a dream, whatever befalls you is temporary.
Why do you feel so sad then?
When everything goes wrong and when you come to a point where you can’t take it anymore, don’t you ever give up!
Because that point is your crossroad where everything is going to change for good.
You are the book of this universe. Look inside and read yourself O dear one!
The universe’s furthest corner is a little dot inside you, but you are not even aware of it.
Whatever your problem may be, don’t be afraid! as long as your hope is Allah!
While everyone places trust on other things, let your reassurance be Allah!
There is no sin greater than Allah’s great mercy, however you must struggle to not commit sin.

La Tahzen! Don’t be sad!

Whatever your problem might be, perform an ablution (Wudhu), like taking a breath, and lay out a prayer mat in your room,
Sit down and cry out. If you wish, don’t say a word.
HE knows you and your problems better than you, don’t forget.
While praying, raise your hands along with a broken heart.
Because Allah’s mercy and benevolence immediately arrive to the person whose heart is torn.
Someone who hits a carpet with a stick does not aim to beat up the carpet, but to get rid of the dust.
Whilst Allah is cleaning off your dust, why are you getting upset O dear one?

La Tahzen! Don’t be sad!

If something doesn’t go your way, it is either because something better will happen or because that thing really shouldn’t happen.
Look at those flying birds! They don’t plant anything nor do they reap,
So do you think that Allah, Who thinks of even these birds’ livelihood would neglect you?
Allah wouldn’t neglect you, just so you know how to wish.
Troubles and calamities fall like rain.
But only those who are able to walk in them will be recorded in the book of love.
Love is a determined range in the path of trouble.
It doesn’t matter from where caravans of sorrow come,
The one whose concern is love, doesn’t have the concern of his head(whether he will be beheaded or not).

Efendi Of Roses

Take the stars with you
Efendi of Roses
Send news to this lover of yours
The beloved one of the Ummah
Take the stars with you
Efendi of Roses
Send news to this lover of yours
The beloved one of the Ummah
I can be the dust under your feet
I can be the way you walk on
Just ask for it, my beloved one
I can be your slave forever
I can be the dust under your feet
I can be the way you walk on
Just ask for it, my beloved one
I can be your slave forever, my beloved one
Take the lovers with you, Efendi of Roses
Let your lover be hopeful, the beloved one of the Ummah
I can be the dust under your feet
I can be the way you walk on
Just ask for it, my beloved one
I can be your slave forever, my beloved one
Take the stars with you
Efendi of Roses
Send news to this lover of yours
The beloved one of the Ummah
Take the stars with you

I Shouldn’t Have Been Like This

Published

on

I SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS

I shouldn’t have been like this
My neck should have fallen onto my shoulders when I heard your name
A fire should have broken out inside of me
I should have walked on air
Then I should have lost my conscience
I should have said your name when I forgot my own
But no one should have heard this,
I should have kept you until the judgment day
I shouldn’t have been like this
When spring sang its songs to the darkness
I should have run to every knocking door saying ‘it’s you’
Footsteps should have come from afar
I should have always thought it was you
When the night sprinkled its stars into the sky
I should have slept to see you
No matter who the songs are sung for
I should have listened as if they were written for you
My room should have been filled with songs,
When a voice said “I left a beautiful beloved one”,
You should have been the beautiful beloved one
The words ”since I fell for your fire my coal-eyed one”
Must have been said for you.
But no one should have known this,
I should have kept you until the day of judgement.
I shouldn’t have been like this
When the words carry Taif to my ears
Even before the wind of Taif hits my face,
The traces of the stones should have been seen on my face.
When Uhud was mentioned, my teeth must have been in pain.
An afternoon in Haram
When evil eyes turn to you
And when unfaithful hands reach out to you
My heart must have been in pain and I should have been out of breath.
While you were preparing for the beyond,
While the beyond was being dressed and prepared for you,
I should have thought about you in the window you looked at for the last time,
Like the curtain closing for the last time,
My eyes should have been closed.
Then I should have reached forward
Shouting out the name of the One Who blessed us with you,
Saying ”ALLAH”
I should have fallen to the ground.
But no one should have known this.
I should have kept you until the day of judgement.
And on the judgment day…
If only I could watch you from afar.
If only I could approach you
If they blocked me,
And if they asked ‘Who are you, who are you to be so close to him? ‘
If only I could not talk because of tears
If only you turned your eyes to me
‘My heaven is your eyes looking at me.’
And if only you smiled
If only no one saw that,
If only I could keep you forever.
