The Miraj
Close your eyes,
And watch the darkness.
It is such a night,
A night in Makkah,
Deep silence,
Even sleep is sleeping.
At the Hatim side of the Kaaba,
Lies someone asleep on his right
The year is the year of sadness,
There is no Abu Talib.
The year is the year of sadness,
There is no Loyal wife Khadijatul Kubra.
At the Hatim side of the Kaaba,
Lies someone asleep on his right.
A heart seeking solace.
A heart beating with sadness.
His heart…
And footsteps..
The stars are shining.
These footsteps coming from the sky,
The stars open the way,
Someone is arriving from the sky.
If Allah were to allow,
The universe would descend to the ground,
Because who lies in the Hatim area..
Is the Sultan of the universe.
If Allah were to allow,
All the worlds would descend to the ground,
But the Order is only for Jibrail,
And only Jibrail descends.
Get up O Rasulullah(Aleyhi Salatu Vesselam)
Angels are waiting you in the sky
Longing for your face that was stoned in Taif,
Longing for your word which was ridiculed,
The angels are waiting you!
Is there no loyalty on earth?
Is your heart looking for someone to comfort you?
Your loved ones are gone, one by one?
Dont be sad, open your eyes
Beyond awaits you
The universe will say your name this night,
The *Buraq will fly for you.
Open your eyes O Habibullah
This night, Allah will name as ”Isra”
O seven layers of sky, open your gates,
And send word to the longing Prophets who are waiting for you,
Say to Hadhrat Adam,
”Salih(a person with good deeds) son is coming”
Tell Isa(Jesus),
You smell him like he is one step away you,
While you take shelter in Allah with your followers,
And you announced good news to humanity,
Ahmed is coming.
Tell Yusuf (Joseph), Idris, Harun,
Tell Musa (Moses),
The one who you admire his qualifications,
And want to be from his ummah,
Brother Salih is coming,
Give good news to Prophet Ibrahim,
The son you pray for is coming.
Open your gates O seven layers of sky,
Muhammed Mustafa is coming.
Jibrail leads the way,
And the Sultan of the Sultans is walking.
What a beautiful walk is this?
What a beautiful manner is this?
Pearl sweat on his blessed forehead,
There is full adab(decency) from head to toe,
With every step he takes
My Sultan…
Did you dream of your Ummah while heaven was shown to you that night?
Did Jibraeel see your tears
As the flames of hell made Salam to you?
Did you say, “My Ummah!”?
You never forget us, we never doubt it
May Allah not make us forget you.
Rasulullah walked,
Jibrail ahead.
A night walk, they walk rising up.
They rise more and go higher.
Then suddenly Jibrail stopped,
”Ya Rasulullah, till here it is with me”
”Why?”, asks our master.
”This is Sidra-i Muntaha,
If I take one step more, i will burn, I will get scorched”.
”How i can walk on Sidre-i Munteha?”, asked Rasulullah (Alaihis Salatu Was Salam).
Jibrail answered;
”With love!”
Walk with love Ya Rasulullah
Walk my Sultan, the road is yours!
The promise is yours on the the valley of love.
The name of conversation is you.
The taste of everything is you.
Walk and send the Salam(greeting) of your tearful Ummah,
So many orphans without you,
Forward your greetings,
The sigh of the end times,
Send it to the Exalted Allahu Zul Jelal.
My Sultan
As you turn back from Miraj,
With divine gifts;
With five daily prayers which is Miraj for us,
With the last two verses of the Surah al-Baqarah,
And with the good news that those who do not fall into shirk can be forgiven.
While you return from Miraj,
We call from Akhir(end) times like Abu Bakr:
”If he said it, then it’s truth”.
”If Rasulullah told it, then it’s truth”.
And an ayah(verse) warms the universe:
“Pure is that Being Who transported His slave by night from Masjidul Haraam to Masjidul Aqsa, the vicinity of which We have blessed, to show him Our Aayaat. Undoubtedly, He is the All Hearing, the All Seeing.” (Surah Bani Israeel, Ayah 1)
*Buraq is a white, winged animal, smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey. It was used to transport Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi wa sallam on his night journey of Miraj to the seven heavens and beyond. (Taken partly from Hadith 429 of Bukhari)
Another Hadith describes the Buraq:
“On the night of Mi’raj, Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was brought an animal with a long back [Sayyiduna stretched out his hands wide to demonstrate this], one stride of it is as far as its vision. So, the two of them [Nabi sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and Jibril] remained upon the back of Al-Buraq until they saw Jannah and Jahannam, and all of what has been prepared for the Hereafter, then they returned back to where they began.”
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3147)

BADR
Dursun Ali Erzincanlı – Badr (Bedir) Poem English Translation
Get ready, we are setting off on a long journey.
We are going back to Age of Peace.
(the period which Hadhrat Muhammed (PBUH) lived in)
Say ”Bismillah” then go to Badr.
Angels are above the sky, you are on the ground.
Wait in silence.
Look at them carefully when they come.
They are the bravest valiants of their time and of all times.
They are stars in the sky and lions on the ground.
They were 125,000 bodies but only one soul, Muhammedi soul.
Lions left Medinah.
Badr’s lions were on the way.
Look, Mus’ab ibn Umayr.
A lion’s child.
Rasulullah will reject him as he is young.
But Mus’ab ibn Umayr cries in such a way that the Prophet allows him.
O Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas!
Go and tie your brother’s sword.
He is short. He can’t wear it.
Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib has two swords on his waist.
Every step he takes, stops a heart.
O, Hamza!
it’s true that you are never scared of what you see.
But keep your solemnity private.
Your walking scares death.
Listen to the Sultan of worlds.
Even wind is quiet when he talks.
O, Ashab! Are you ready?
Sa’d ibn Mu’adh says:
”Ya Rasulallah thanks to Allah,
Who sent you with the right way
if you show us the sea and dive
we will dive with you.
Walk us with the blessings of Allah.”
The one who is glorious, the one who is the beloved one of Allah smiles!
When he smiles, the thirsty ones are saved from their thirst.
Roses blossom in hearts. Everyone forgets about their grief.
He smiles and they walk.
Sufferings in Mecca were finished they were walking!
They were like stars on the ground.
They had the sun in front of them.
Umar (Omar) and Ali one of them, the son of Hattab, the one who never gives up.
And together they are approaching death.
Fathers and sons are fighting in Badr.
Brothers are fighting in Badr.
Mecca’s polytheists want three valiants first.
Show three valiants to us, they say.
Angels are looking at the Sultan of the worlds
Who will the Sultan Rasul choose?
Because when he points at a place, the moon splits in two.
I wonder who his blessed hands will reach.
”Stand up, O Abu Ubayda! Stand up O Hamza. Stand up O Ali.”
Did you see the valiants?
Did you see Hamza? He is going there with no concern.
What about Ali? It’s like he is coming from above, father of the Awliyahs.
Abu Ubayda is injured from his leg.
He goes to his Efendi.
”Ya Rasulallah, am I a martyr?”, he asks.
”Yes, you are a martyr.”
And the greatest Efendi prays
He reaches his hands to Ar-Rahim.
O my Allah, grant me what You have promised me.
O my Allah, if this small band of Muslims perishes
there will be no one left who can worship You on earth.
A storm comes out in Badr.
A thousand angels under the command of Hadrath Mika’il stands to the right of Rasulullah.
A storm comes out in Badr.
A thousand angels under the command of Hadrath Israfil stands to the left of Resulullah.
And one more storm comes out!
Hadrath Jibril stands in front of the Rasulullah with a thousand angels.
Three thousand angels with multicolored horses.
They are coming back from Badr.
There is our Prophet’s uncle Hadrath Abbas among the captives.
It’s midnight. Captives’ hands are tied.
Abbas’ hands are tied tight.
There is a groan in the night.
Our Prophet of mercy can’t sleep.
Ya Rasulallah, why can’t you sleep?, Sahabah ask.
”My uncle’s groan doesn’t let me sleep.”
The chosen Sahabi unties the Uncle of Prophet’s hands.
Our Prophet gives an order when he finds out.
Untie the hands of all captives.
They turn back from Badr.
The Prophet’s son-in-law is among the captives.
He is going to be freed in return for ransom money.
A necklace is handed to Allah’s Rasul.
Your daughter Zainab sent it as a ransom for her husband.
The merciful Prophet’s eyes were filled with tears.
Because that necklace was gifted to his daughter by Khadija.
Nabi (PBUH) speaks with tears in his eyes
”Can’t you free him and send that necklace back to Zainab?”
“Sure, O RasulAllah.
Don’t be sad!
You are more precious than our lives!
Here, we can sacrifice our own lives for you.
Just don’t be sad!”
They come back from Badr.
Their beloved ones pray.
They come back with the prayer of Prophet (PBUH)
We praise to Allah, Who helps His men, and value His religion.
We thank Allah, the Owner of the universe.
We thank Allah, the Owner of all worlds.

THE CONQUEST OF MAKKAH
Dursun Ali Erzincanli – Mekke’nin Fethi ( The Conquest of Makkah ) Poem English Translation.
It all started with a poem.
In the presence of the Prophet (PBUH), a poem was read.
It started with a poet who left the valley of Adam through mad sandstorms.
Behind him were forty cavalrymen.
From their eyes could be seen the news of betrayal.
This poet was Amr bin Salim from the Khuza tribe.
Loudly he recited the poem
And Nabi (PBUH) listened unblinkingly;
The people of Quraish did not keep their promise.
They broke the treaty they made with you in Hudaybiyyah.
They caught us unawares in our own lands, in Vetir.
They thought I would not call anyone for help.
They thought I could not,he said and stopped.
The poet was crying.
Everyone looked at the Prophet.
And at that moment breaths were held.
The heads of the Sahabas were touching the ground.
Because the veins on his blessed foreheads could be seen.
The Prophet (PBUH) was getting mad.
O Nabi!
Call the servants of Allah for help.
May Allah’s Messenger be among them.
May the colour of his face change from anger because of their cruelty.
And may he lead a great army.
May he flow like mad rivers.
The poem was over.
The poet did not say another word.
Eyes were still on the Prophet.
Allah’s Rasul (PBUH) held his Ihram clothing and stood up.
And the Sahabah stood up.
It was the Prophet’s turn to speak.
”If I can not help Banu Khuzaa’ah
With the things I helped myself
May I never receive help as well.
I swear to Allah Who Created my existence with His Almighty power,
as I protect myself and my family I will protect them as well.
Now let the world know.
Let those who believe in Allah and Qiyamah gather in Madina.
The rhythm of the battle could be heard on the mountain of Madina.
The streets fall into silence.
The Prophet does not speak.
Swords are being sharpened in the House of Peace.
Armors are being cleaned in the House of Peace.
And the mother of cities smiles.
Makkah al-Mukarramah smiles.
Smile, O Makkah!
The day is your day!
The day is your day of conquest!
Smile, they are coming back to you.
Look…
The brave men who were taken from you yesterday are returning to you.
The wind that blows the lands of Sultanabad returns first.
Then a large unit comes.
Khalid ibn al-Waleed (R.A) is leading them!
O Makkah…
The migrants who are covered in blood are coming,
who were insulted for saying ”My Rabb is Allah”,
who were tortured while living in your lands.
The migrants who look like red altars are coming.
Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (R.A) comes first.
The one who became a Muslim at the age of eight.
The one who was taken from you at the age of fifteen.
The one who was wrapped in a mat by his uncle.
He held him above the smoke of fire to make him go back to falsehood.
But he didn’t leave the right way.
And as one of the stars of the Prophet,
he is coming back to you in the front, O Makkah.
Then, Banu Ghifar is coming in groups.
Their flag is in the hands of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (R.A).
Abu Dharr (R.A) who was beaten almost to death when he
announced that he was a Muslim infront of the Kabaa, is coming.
Banu Aslam is coming in groups.
As the Banu Muzeynehs are passing through the desert with a thousand soldiers,
Takbeer sounds are coming from the sky.
O Makkah,
Tell us, who else are you waiting for?
Hadhrat Hamza (R.A)? Mus’ab ibn Umayr (R.A)?
They are smiling at you with the army of martyrs..
And look…
Their eyes are shining.
They are watching the regiment that is approaching you and making the dust fly
What is this regiment that looks like a black stone?
Something is moving in the sky
They are the warriors of Ansar who are not scared of death
And in the middle, with his black turban, the beloved one…
At that moment, the Prophets are standing.
Angels are standing.
Martyrs are standing.
O Makkah, if you can stand up, do the same thing.
Because peace and happiness are coming for our hearts.
Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) is coming…

MAY MY LIFE BE SACRIFICED IN YOUR PATH
YUNUS EMRE – CANIM KURBAN OLSUN SENiN YOLUNA ( MAY MY LIFE BE SACRIFICED IN YOUR PATH ) POEM ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Song by: Hasan Sagindik
May my life be sacrificed in your path
Oh you, whose name and self are beautiful Mohammed
Please make intercession for this disobedient servant
Oh you, whose name and self are beautiful Mohammed
Believers encounter much sorrow
They reap its benefits in the hereafter
You are the Chosen one in eighteen thousand universes
Oh you, whose name and self are beautiful Mohammed
Oh you, who observed the seven heavens
Oh you, who walked upon the Throne
Oh you, who asked for your ummet’s forgiveness at Mirâc from Allah
Oh you, whose name and self are beautiful Mohammed
What would Yunus do in this life without you?
You are the true prophet without any doubt or question
Whoever doesn’t follow you would perish without faith
Oh you, whose name and self are beautiful Mohammed
