Alliances, separations, betrayals, purges, openings come one after another… It will be incomplete to evaluate what’s happening inside only with a perspective rising from within our borders. The Hamas attack on October 7 and Israel’s disproportionate response accelerated the region’s journey to its destination. Therefore, we should look at the elections not locally but regionally. In my opinion… Let’s go step by step if you wish…

Obama, Trump, and Biden all fully supported Sisi, who came to power in Egypt through a coup. For example, Trump said, “If anyone has any doubts, I want to make it clear, we are very much behind Sisi.” Obama initiated the strategic partnership. Biden continued it. Sisi said in the White House, “Political Islam is responsible for the protests… As long as political Islam tries to come to power in our country, incompetence will prevail.” President Trump also supported this by saying, “Before Sisi, there was no order, there was chaos.” So, under the guise of fighting Al-Qaeda, the U.S. was actually making a move against political Islam. Especially the U.S. saw Hamas, IHVAN as the representative of political Islam… But Hamas was in the lead role in the region. It was a great and unshakable truth… So what would happen? Where would it lead to? Let’s open it up… Let’s walk with Mursi…

Mohammed Mursi was born in 1951 in the El-Adwah village in the Sharqia region of the Nile Delta. Mursi studied engineering at Cairo University in the 1970s and then went to the United States for his Ph.D. Upon his return to Egypt, he became the head of the engineering department at Zagazig University. Parallel to his scientific career, he quickly rose in the Muslim Brotherhood movement. He served as an independent member of parliament affiliated with the movement from 2000 to 2005. Mohammed Mursi, as a member of parliament, especially stood out with his oratory skills. In 2002, he gained attention with his criticism of officials following a train accident. Mursi was chosen as the presidential candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012. A millionaire businessman, Hayrat El-Shatir, who held an important position within the same movement, was forced to withdraw from the race due to pressure. Thus, the Arab Spring was leading Mursi to power.

Mursi introduced himself during his election campaign as a “barricade” against the possibility of the eliminated president Hosni Mubarak’s return. Naturally, when he won the election, the Muslim Brotherhood came to the forefront. His promise to “be the president of everyone” seemed unfulfilled. He initiated CONSTITUTIONAL WORK. Even the DRAFT was enough to stir up the country. Liberals, secularists, and the Coptic Church boycotted the efforts. With the RESISTANCE MOVEMENT, its supporters took to the streets against Mursi. Things got chaotic. Dozens of people died. The military briefly left the quarters. When peace did not come, they returned to duty. The path to a coup was clear. Sisi made the final move.

Sisi intervened in the events with the motto “It could lead to the collapse of the state.” Mursi was taken away, and he was not heard from for weeks. He was arrested. He was tried. The leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood were also arrested. Some fled. The coup against Hamas-Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt had reached its 10th year. In the global league, HAMAS-MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD was the “OTHER”! It was a GLOBAL THREAT for the U.S. Their future was being calculated, and probably, their elimination was being facilitated. Mursi’s departure through a COUP in 2013 was also critical for the region. Significant developments were also taking place in Turkiye and Qatar. Turkiye was drifting away from the U.S. due to the operations on October 17 and 25 and the road leading to July 15. Turkiye was also joining the path opened by Mursi.

Sisi was preventing this path with a coup, and he was parking the country next to Washington. Especially after 2013, the increasingly tense relationship between Turkiye and the U.S. was standing out as both sides of the relationship. As I have been writing frequently in recent days, I see a close approach between Washington and ANKARA both internally and externally. In ECONOMIC-POLITICAL-MILITARY-STRATEGIC sense…

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-8052133319358801" data-ad-slot="5999284211" data-ad-format="auto" data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

When QATAR took a stance against EGYPT and stood by MURSI and the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, the GULF COUNTRIES, especially Saudi Arabia, initiated an embargo. It seemed as if TURKIYE-QATAR was on one side, and others were on the other side. President Erdogan was not attending the dinner hosted by Sisi during the UN summit in New York because of his clear stance against Sisi. He didn’t hide his reaction. Time passed. Balances changed. At the WORLD CUP, the Emir of Qatar brought President Erdogan and Sisi together, even if it was a short time. He facilitated reconciliation.

There was also tension with Saudi Crown Prince Salman due to the Kasikci assassination. That was being overcome too. In fact, the people of the region were against HAMAS and the political path it pursued. This could be understood from the clear stance of the TURKIYE-QATAR alliance against them. Since the U.S. was fighting the power behind HAMAS in the it did not want POLITICAL ISLAM, namely HAMAS in the global arena.

They didn’t intend to experience the problems arising from this. I always looked at the October 7 attack from this perspective… A power or mind that carries out such a big operation would calculate the response it would receive! They would make moves to win. Naturally. It’s not possible that this calculation was not made. Therefore, someone was involved on behalf of HAMAS! In my opinion…

We saw in the World Cup that Qatar was also setting aside its coldness with the U.S. President Erdogan was shaking hands with Sisi. The U.S.’s “ONE VOICE, ONE RHYTHM” policy was rapidly progressing. Turkiye would receive F-16s and F-35s. Because it was the only indispensable country in the region! Therefore, a new page was being opened.

This was an INTERSTATE step. It was not about who the U.S. President was. This atmosphere of UNITY and INTEGRITY would also bring the KURDISH CARD to the forefront, which has been burning us for years. Therefore, while heading to the local elections domestically, ALLIANCES were breaking, friendships were breaking, and new ones were trying to be established. Those who spoke into the same microphone yesterday were now attacking each other. So, the change in the region was pushing us towards CHANGE as well.

The U.S.’s struggle with EUROPE and CHINA in the global arena had to accelerate. They didn’t want to look back. Turkiye is a key country here. HAMAS, the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, the KURDISH ISSUE, SYRIA, and IRAQ’S FINAL FORM had to be discussed with TURKIYE. In my opinion, this is what happened… I believe we will see the consequences soon… Even DEM is trying to see behind the scenes on the global stage, while the mighty CHP is walking unaware of what’s happening. Or they think they are walking!

Follow us on Facebook

READ ALL ARTICLES

14.02.2024

Balance Strategy When heading to the local elections where Istanbul is in the center, many events and names are on the agenda.
