Faisal, who stayed here for a while; had the chance to observe Ireland and France as well as England. His father founded the KINGDOM OF SUUD (SAUDI) in 1932. The balances had completely changed.<\/p>\n<p>FAISAL, who used the time well, served as a minister in the Hejaz Emirate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was a hardworking and successful name. Naturally, he was the one who stood out in the dynasty. Although it was known that there was oil in the territory of the kingdom, it was not clear that there was this amount. In 1938, the DESERT lands would suddenly turn into the richest geography in the world. England wanted to use this. The king did not allow. American President Franklin Delano Roosevelt met with King Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia in the &#8216;USS Quincy&#8217; destroyer anchored in the Bitter Lake on the Suez Canal. This SUMMIT was starting a new era in the MIDDLE EAST. In the meeting where the world was discussed, Roosevelt thanked the King for allowing American companies to extract oil.<\/p>\n<p>Sincerity and trust were clearly seen. King Abdulaziz also had sensitivity. The subject was the Palestinian territory. He was telling the President of the United States that he was worried about the increasing JEWISH POPULATION. He also said he saw this as a threat. At the SUMMIT, where the great partnership between the USA and Saudi Arabia started, Roosevelt said, &#8220;A JEWISH STATE cannot be established within the territory of Palestine. I won&#8217;t let that happen&#8230;&#8221; he was saying. He was making promises. Strangely, two months after this meeting Franklin D. Roosevelt was ill with a headache on April 12, 1945, and died suddenly. His wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, did not allow an autopsy to be performed on her husband, she could not&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>With the death of King Abdulaziz in 1953, his son, Prince Saud, passed to the throne. He was doing nothing but spend money. He would be written in history as the first KING to be dethroned because of wasting money. Then Faisal became the owner of the throne. The balance has changed. He immediately made contact with his surroundings. He took firm steps forward. On August 21, 1969, Australian fanatic Michael Dennis Rohan set fire to Masjid-i Aqsa in mid-morning. When it came to the defeats against Israel, the reaction and anger were great. They decided to establish an Islamic Conference Organization (now the Organization of Islamic Cooperation) under the leadership of Saudi Arabia. King Faisal, who led the establishment of the Union, wanted to come together in the denominator of Aqsa instead of the Arab nationalism, which was widespread in Arab countries at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on the morning of June 5, 1967, Egyptian leader Nasser was experiencing the shock of his life. Despite the support of the Saudis, the ISRAEL AIR FORCE was destroying all the planes of the EGYPT army before taking off. Israel was defeating Egypt, Syria and Jordan. It was making its lands three and a half times bigger, capturing the Sinai Peninsula. Nasser passed away, replaced by Anwar Sadat.He wanted to reclaim Egypt&#8217;s ruined reputation. On October 6, 1973, Sadat launched a surprise operation against Israel in Yom Kippur, the holiday of the Jews, to reclaim the lands lost in the Six-Day War. It was successful. Faisal thought that EGYPT would go all the way to Tel Aviv. The US did not allow it.<\/p>\n<p>Faysal did not forget the promise that was made to his FATHER. He pulled the oil card. The USA and Israel would not give oil to the countries next to it. It stopped giving its oil. Oil prices went crazy. The stock markets collapsed. Economies started to go bankrupt. Upon this, the USA sent Kissinger. Kissinger threatened to bomb oil wells when Faisal said: &#8220;If you stop supporting Israel, the embargo will end.&#8221; Faysal, on the other hand, gave Kissinger the following answer that will be written in history: &#8220;Of course you can bomb our oil wells. But don&#8217;t forget that we and our ancestors lived on dates and camel milk, we can live like that again; but you can no longer live without oil.&#8221; King Faisal was killed in his palace on March 25, 1975, just 2 years after the start of the embargo, when he accepted official delegations. The perpetrator of the assassination was Faisal bin Mus\u00e2id, the King&#8217;s nephew, who had lived in America for many years. His private life was also different from his father and siblings. He married \u0130ffet Sunayyan (Thunayyan) Hanim, who was born in Istanbul-Uskudar in 1932. After the execution of Sayyed Qutb in Egypt, he protected the members of the Brotherhood (Muslim Brothers) to Saudi Arabia. He assigned many of them at universities and schools.
