{"id":21531,"date":"2023-06-09T21:22:54","date_gmt":"2023-06-09T18:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kayifamilytv.com\/v11\/?p=21531"},"modified":"2023-06-10T17:19:25","modified_gmt":"2023-06-10T14:19:25","slug":"the-poem-about-wahshi-ibn-harb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kayifamilytv.com\/v18\/the-poem-about-wahshi-ibn-harb\/","title":{"rendered":"THE POEM ABOUT WAHSHI IBN HARB"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>The Poem About Wahshi Ibn Harb<\/h5>\n<p>Dursun Ali Erzincanl\u0131 &#8211; Vahsi poem English Translation<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/wakeupummah.com\/fireplayer\/video\/ea6b2efbdd4255a9f1b3bbc6399b58f4\" width=\"100%\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Forgiveness is the glory of greatness.<br \/>\nAnd Allah is the Greatest.<\/p>\n<p>Inside every man there is a Wahshi who throws a spear at the truth.<br \/>\nSome introduce that Wahshi to the word of Allah<br \/>\nAnd he lives with the longing of the Prophet of light until he dies.<br \/>\nOne of the most painful days of our Efendi(PBUH) who is the<br \/>\nHonour of the universe, was the day of the &#8220;Battle of Uhud&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Along with many of his Sahabah (R.A), his beloved uncle Hazrat Hamza (R.A) was martyred that day.<br \/>\nWhat an honourable martyr he was!<br \/>\nA martyr whose limbs were cut off and heart was removed.<br \/>\nOur Prophet (PBUH) experienced such pain that day<br \/>\nthat whenever he remembers the day of Uhud,<br \/>\n&#8220;It was a good day to die that day,&#8221; he would say.<\/p>\n<p>The battle of Uhud was over, everyone had returned to their homes.<br \/>\nWhen the Prophet (PBUH) entered Medina, cries were heard from everywhere.<br \/>\nEveryone was suffering.<br \/>\nWhen our Prophet (PBUH) came to Hazrat Hamza&#8217;s (R.A) house, he began to cry and said:<br \/>\n&#8220;Every martyr has someone crying, but my uncle has no one crying&#8221;<br \/>\nSahabah (R.A) who heard the cry of Rasulullah (PBUH) and these words,<br \/>\nstopped crying for their own martyrs and ran to Hazrat Hamza&#8217;s (R.A) house.<br \/>\nAnd they shared the pain of the Rasulullah (PBUH).<\/p>\n<p>Wahshi (R.A) was one of the architects of that day&#8217;s pain.<br \/>\nHe was a slave when he came to Uhud.<br \/>\nHis master told him, if he killed Hamza, he would free him from slavery.<br \/>\nAnd he would be given all the wealth.<br \/>\nWahshi put his spear out for freedom and worldly properties.<br \/>\nHe threw it, not knowing what it would cost.<br \/>\nThe spear offered Hazrat Hamza (R.A) the leadership of the martyrs.<br \/>\nAnd it offered a regret for Wahshi that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>After Hazrat Hamza&#8217;s (R.A) martyrdom, Wahshi ibn Harb returned to Mecca.<br \/>\nHe escaped to Taif after the conquest of Mecca.<br \/>\nBut the people of Taif also wanted to convert to Islam.<br \/>\nThey were going to Rasulullah (PBUH).<\/p>\n<p>Wahshi thought he had nowhere to escape anymore.<br \/>\nBecause wherever he took refuge, Islam followed him.<br \/>\nIt was as if Muhammad (PBUH), whose uncle he killed, was following him.<\/p>\n<p>One day Wahshi got the news;<br \/>\nRasulullah (PBUH) was inviting him to Islam.<br \/>\nThis invitation was unexpected, as he had brutally murdered the Prophet&#8217;s (PBUH) own uncle, his loyal friend.<br \/>\nFor him, it was impossible to be forgiven.<br \/>\nOr did the Prophet make such an invitation because he wanted to take his revenge?<br \/>\nTo catch and kill Wahshi?<br \/>\nBut the Prophet (PBUH) would never lie.<br \/>\nWahshi sends a letter to our Efendi in these emotions.<br \/>\n\u201cO Muhammed! How can you invite me to become a Muslim?<br \/>\nDon&#8217;t you say that those who deny Allah, those who unjustly kill a soul whom Allah has created,<br \/>\nand those who commit adultery, will be punished for their sins?<br \/>\nOn the Day of Judgment, their punishment will be doubled<br \/>\nand they will remain eternally in torment and humiliation?<br \/>\nI did all of these, can someone like me be saved?<\/p>\n<p>After this letter, Allah sent the 70th ayah<br \/>\nof Surah Furqan to our Prophet Efendi(PBUH):<br \/>\n\u201cAs for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds,<br \/>\nthey are the ones whose evil deeds Allah will change into good deeds.<br \/>\nFor Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.\u201d<br \/>\nOur honourable Efendi writes this ayah as an answer,<br \/>\nwithout wasting any time, and sends it to Wahshi.<\/p>\n<p>A short time later, another letter comes from Wahshi.<br \/>\n\u201cAllah sends verses to His Prophet for a servant&#8217;s hesitations.<br \/>\nHe removes the doubts of His servant so that he can find guidance.\u201d<br \/>\nWahshi says in his letter:<br \/>\n\u201cO Muhammed! Converting and believing,<br \/>\ndoing beautiful and good works is a very tough condition.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t think I can handle this job.&#8221;<br \/>\nAgainst this excuse of Wahshi, the 48th ayah<br \/>\nof Surah An-Nisa is sent to our Efendi(PBUH).<br \/>\n&#8220;Surely, Allah does not forgive that a partner is ascribed to Him<br \/>\nand He forgives anything what is less than that for whomsoever He wills.&#8221;<br \/>\nIn these ayahs, Allah is talking to a servant through His Prophet, to His servants.<br \/>\nOur Prophet Efendi also writes this verse that was revealed to him and sends it to him.<\/p>\n<p>Wahshi replies to this news again with another letter.<br \/>\n\u201cO Muhammed! In this letter, forgiveness depends on Allah&#8217;s wisdom and will.<br \/>\nHe says He will forgive whomever He wishes.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know if Allah will forgive me or not.&#8221;<br \/>\nAfter these endless hesitations of Wahshi ibn Harb,<br \/>\nAllah mentions about all humanity with the 53rd ayah of Az-Zumar<br \/>\n&#8220;O glorious Nabi, say,<br \/>\n&#8220;O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls!<br \/>\nDo not lose hope in Allah\u2019s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins.<br \/>\nHE is indeed Al-Ghafoor and Al-Raheem.<br \/>\nHe is indeed the All-Forgiving Most Merciful.&#8221;<br \/>\nThis newly received ayah is immediately sent to Wahshi.<\/p>\n<p>When Wahshi reads this ayah that came to him, he becomes happy.<br \/>\nHe got the exact answer he asked for.<br \/>\nHe immediately converted to Islam and became a Muslim.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the Sahabah (R.A) immediately came to our<br \/>\nProphet (PBUH) after witnessing these incidents:<br \/>\n\u201cO Rasulallah! We did what Wahshi did.<br \/>\nDoes what was promised to the Wahshi also include us?\u201d they ask.<br \/>\nOur honourable Efendi gives the answer that makes us all hopeful and happy.<br \/>\n\u201cThese conditions and promises include all Muslims.\u201d<br \/>\nTo draw attention to the greatness of the good news<br \/>\nbrought by this verse, Our Prophet Efendi (PBUH) said:<br \/>\n&#8220;I would not change this verse for the world and anything in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yes..<br \/>\nForgiveness is the glory of greatness and Allah is the Greatest.<br \/>\nAllah, the Greatest, created nights to forgive His servants.<br \/>\nTonight is the night of Shab-e-barat.<br \/>\nIsn&#8217;t it time for the Wahshi in our hearts to repent?<br \/>\nDon&#8217;t we have an excuse to raise our hands to the sky and ask for forgiveness?<\/p>\n<p>May Allah keep us on the right way for the sake of this night.<br \/>\nMay Allah grant us Imaan which is supported with<br \/>\nknowledge and practice.<br \/>\nMay your night be Mubarak.<\/p>\n<p>Recited by: <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/06gxKbVlHD2gLb02OSmrqp?si=s6XtwKwgQQSz3kGnQRxQ5A\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DURSUN ALI ERZINCANLI<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kayifamilytv.com\/v11\/literature\/poems\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ALL POEMS<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Poem About Wahshi Ibn Harb Dursun Ali Erzincanl\u0131 &#8211; Vahsi poem English Translation Forgiveness is the glory of greatness.
