Especially after the collapse of the Soviets and saying goodbye to the stage of history, we witnessed many COLORFUL REVOLUTIONS. From the Orange Revolution to the ROSE Revolution… Even the ARAB SPRING… What all this roughly has in common is THAT PEOPLE WANT FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY. It was explained as ‘IT IS FIGHTING AGAINST AUTHORITARIAN LEADERS’. In other words, as the liberal point of view points out, it constitutes the INDIVIDUALS DEMANDS, and the stacks that overlapped created the SOCIAL demand. And that was shaping the future of countries.<\/p>\n
This was a thesis that I never believed in. After the SECOND WORLD WAR, when it was seen that the USA shared the world with the Soviets and decided who would be a liberal and who would become a communist in EUROPE, there was no need for another data…<\/p>\n
Although some did not want to accept it, the world was spinning with both ECONOMIC and POLITICAL PROJECTS. The opposite was not possible. It never happened. American political scientist John Mearsheimer thinks that since the end of the Cold War, these liberal initiatives of the United States have led to a major American failure. Mearsheimer approaches liberalism from two points! As it is known, roughly liberalism is the priority of the individual over society. For some reason, when viewed GLOBALLY, a CHAOS is standing before us. While liberal thought gives RIGHTS and FREEDOM TO THE INDIVIDUAL, it adds tolerance to it.<\/p>\n
