This series is based on the work of Feridüddin Atar’s “Mantıku’t Tayr“.

In the last episode of Journey with Birds, Sheikh Efendi has come to the end of his life as he is very ill. There is mourning in the lodge. Sheikh Efendi tells his dervishes about the end of Huthut’s journey with other birds. Dervishes realize that their Sheikh is actually a mirror to them with the dream they saw at that time. The truth is actually hidden in a person’s journey to himself. No matter what means a person can find himself, he will only be able to reach the truth.

Sheikh Efendi helped his dervishes to find themselves. After his last lesson, Sheikh Efendi leaves and goes to the after-life with a smile. Dervishes embrace 10 beautiful stones, which are heirlooms from their Sheikhs, and which their Sheikhs have been making for a long time. After a while, some dervishes entered social life according to their abilities and the traveler became the new Sheikh of the lodge. The traveler, that is, the new Sheikh Efendi begins to tell a story to the dervishes who have just come to the lodge. “One day all the birds in the world were gathered”. This is a new beginning in the journey of truth that will not end as the world turns…
