Who is Timurtas Hodja?

When he was born, the azan was recited in Turkish, and the Quran was hidden in the chest of the walls, accompanied by tears. His father would go to Fatih Mosque from Kadıköy for the morning prayer “in order not to lose his child”; he was making him sit next to the great scholars. Despite his young age, muftis let him speak in front of crowds and he was sent to all over Anatolia as a traveling preacher. He was none other than Tarık Timurtaş Uçar, the majestic preacher of the pulpits where sermon tapes would circulate all over Turkiye in later years.
